Help Us Keep Prospect Hill Cemetery Safe and Beautiful. We ask that all families and visitors of Prospect Hill Cemetery in the heart of Towson, MD, respect the following rules to keep the cemetery safe and a place of beauty for all.
Access to the cemetery is limited to our entrance roads off of York road. Pedestrian access is strictly prohibited along any perimeter property lines.
All visitors walk in the cemetery at their own risk.
All children who visit the cemetery must be accompanied by an adult.
The board of directors and/or cemetery representatives of Prospect Hill Cemetery are not responsible for theft or damage to anything placed on graves or lots.
Cut fresh flowers (in non-breakable vases) may be placed on graves at any time. Glass containers are NOT allowed for safety reasons.
Artificial flowers may not be placed on graves from May 15th through October 15th.
Bulbs may be planted in the Spring.
The board of directors and/or cemetery representatives of Prospect Hill Cemetery reserve the right to remove from the cemetery all flowers, potted plants, wreaths, baskets of flowers or anything objectionable, for any reason, when it is in the best interest of the cemetery, determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the trustees and/or representatives of Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Sitting, leaning on, and/or tampering with monuments is not permitted. Defacing and destruction of monuments will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Skateboards, mopeds, cycles and other forms of recreational vehicles and equipment are not permitted in the cemetery.
Walking dogs or other pets is not permitted in the cemetery.
The board of directors and/or cemetery representatives must be contacted before any services are scheduled.
NO LOITERING. NO TRESPASSING. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The board of directors and/or cemetery representative of Prospect Hill Cemetery reserve the right to change or amend these regulations at any time.
